Runway‘s Big Ad Contest. One fictional product. One tagline. 30 to 60 seconds. Two Weeks. No client. No budget restriction. All video generated within the Runway echosystem.
An ode to resourcefulness.
A legendary spy is caught off guard in an idyllic modernist mansion in the Tuscan hills. Outnumbered and out of options, he reaches for the only thing he has 🧠.

Creative Strategy
Rather than treating this as a standalone spec ad, the project was conceived as a narrative extension of an existing creative universe, introducing the main character of an independent film already in production and creating cross-platform IP with a single execution. See “One Week in Eternity”.

Workflow Architecture
Runway’s ecosystem served as the primary production pipeline: ideation, image generation, and video generation in one connected system.
External tools handled specific phases: Claude for prompt engineering and script development, Nano Banana Pro for character world-building and reference sheets, Veo 3 and Kling 3.0 Pro for cinematic video generation.
Suno and ElevenLabs for music composition and sound effects.

Character consistency was maintained through dedicated reference pipelines built before production. A modular approach inside Runway Spaces allowed iteration at each stage without rebuilding from scratch — updating a single reference image preserves downstream prompts. It mirrors the procedural node systems in professional CGI pipelines. Change one variable, alter the result.
